The Public Relations (PR) programme started in 1972. The outcome of this programme focuses on producing public relations professionals and practitioners who are passionate, knowledgable and able to contribute to the PR industry and the country. The programme is affiliated with the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia through its IPRMSA-UiTM chapter.
Furthermore, networking and linkages are developed with most of the key industry players, government agencies such as Shell, ExxonMobil, MATRADE, PNB, Petronas, Eric Pringles, Ogilvy PR and many more.
- This programme is designed to equip graduates with both theoretical and practical aspects of public relations.
- The ultimate aim of public relations is to present organisations in the best light possible.
- This requires special skills in the area of research, managerial, persuasive communication, strategic planning and writing.
