The Academic Affairs Division manages all academic affairs of the university. At UiTM Cawangan Melaka, the BHEA Office is headed by the Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs with 1 Senior Assistant Registrars assisting for each campus:

The Students Affairs Division (Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar – BHEP) is the core for students’ administration and management for the entire university. BHEP was established to perform the tasks, responsibilities, and functions as stated in the University Act 173 and 174 since 1976, and the amendments made under the jurisdiction of the Vice Chancellor.
The BHEP serves two main functions: to promote the development and leadership qualities of students, as well as providing students’ facilities and services.

Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPSis)
In striving to raise the levels of professional graduate education, it is the Institute of Graduate Studies' (IPSis) mission to nurture the creation of a graduate learning community by providing educational opportunities that would help to push its frontiers for societal well-being.
IPSis operates as the nerve-centre of graduate-level education in the institution and is responsible for the implementation and management of overall administration. It coordinates and formulates policies on admission and academic regulations, as well as provides support to facilitate research and learning among postgraduate students.

Office of International Affairs (OIA) is a department responsible in managing the internationalization affairs of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). In line with the university’s aspiration in putting UiTM on the world map, OIA plays a major role in ensuring the effective implementation of university’s internationalization strategies. The department’s main function is to manage collaboration at international level and coordinate visit from international delegates.
OIA have three key roles and functions namely networking, engagement and collaboration. OIA also helps other universities to identify areas of collaboration with faculties and campuses that could benefit both institutions. Besides that, OIA manages student mobility program, staff mobility, international joint project, project of international joint conferences, joint search and joint academic programs.
Various Summer Programmes have been developed by OIA with the cooperation of the faculties and branch campuses: To name a few: Summer Programme lke Hanyang University (South Korea), Walailak University (Thailand), University of Sussex (United Kingdom) Toyo University (Japan), Bunkyo Gakuin University(Japan), Gunma University (Japan). Kristal Rsidential College is a facility under the responsibility of OIA for international students. Residential college is managed by the Office of Management Residential Kristal College. OIA is also commited to providing quality services to international students in UiTM such as visa, insurance, logistics and counseling services.

As one of the Malaysian leading providers of educational courses, we are committed in meeting the learning needs of adult learners of Bumiputera of all stages of life across a diverse range of interests. The centre started playing its major role in educating adult learners dated back from 1973 when UiTM (previously known as ITM) started venturing into off-campus educational programs.
